JoDella "Grammie Jo" Caskey, 79, Sandusky, went home to be with her Lord, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, April 28, 2012, in Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born on August 19, 1932, in Berea, Kentucky.
JoDella was a faithful member of the Sandusky Church of God, loved embroidery, reading the Bible, playing HOB, cooking, and being a prayer ward to anyone who called.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Blevins, Roberta (Cliff) Crum, and Beverly (Kim) Yahn, all of Sandusky, Linda McCauley of Tennessee, and Rhonda (Lynwood) Hires of North Carolina; ten grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Lenora Caskey; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Denzel Caskey in 1991; mother, Daisy (Owens) Brewer; step father, Lexie Brewer; father, William Alexander; son, Lexie Caskey; brother, Donald Brewer; sister, Aleane Boaz, and three sons-in-law.
Friends may call on Monday, April 30, 2012, from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. in Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 A.M. in Sandusky Church of God, 1018 W. Bogart Rd., Sandusky. Rev. Dr. Porter Richards, Jr. and Rev. Samuel Studer will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
