Josephine Minor, 81, of Bellevue passed away Thursday, June 22, 2023, at the Bellevue Care Center.
She was born August 2, 1941, in Sant' Agata di Militello, Sicily.
Josie immigrated to Bellevue with her family in 1946 from Sicily. She attended Bellevue Schools and was a graduate of Bellevue High School. After graduation Josie worked at the former General Electric Lamp Plant and First National Bank in Bellevue. On May 10, 1969, she married Philip Minor; He preceded her in death in 2016. Josie was a devoted dog lover to Peppi, JoJo, Koko, and GiGi. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church in Bellevue.
Josie is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
In addition to her parents, and husband; She is preceded in death by her brothers, Carmelo "Carl", William, Salvatore, Anthony, and Charles Iannello; and sisters, Rosalia Iannello and Caroline Maltese.
Friends will be received on Wednesday, June 28, 2023, from 10:30 - 11:30 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A funeral Mass will begin at Noon at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 East Center, Bellevue. Burial will follow at Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
