James A. "Jamie" Hawkins, 68, originally of Bellevue passed away Saturday, June 24, 2023, at the Hill Community Residence in Toledo.
He was born July 15, 1959, in Bellevue, the son of Richard Sr. and Catherine E. (Northam) Hawkins.
James resided at the Tiffin Developmental Center for many years, until spending the last 13 years at the Anne Grady Hill Community Residence for the past 13 years. Over the years he enjoyed swimming and riding in go-karts.
He is survived by his three siblings: Richard (Deb) Hawkins Jr., Janice (Jim) Wetzel, and George (Loretta) Hawkins; along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Cathy Patrick.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 10 a.m. until a funeral service begins at 11 a.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Private burial will be at Strongs Ridge Cemetery.
