William V. Tigges, 83, Sandusky, passed away Thursday, June 29, 2023, in Concord Care of Sandusky.
He was born on March 27, 1940 in Sandusky to the late Albert and Alberta (Brandt) Tigges.
He worked as a commercial fisherman for many years.
William loved fishing and hunting and talking to anyone about the great times he had fishing. He also loved to give orders to anyone who would listen.
He is survived by his wife, Charline (Cole) Tigges; daughters, Tammi Heuser, Vickery, and Pamela Ray, Sandusky; son, Charles Tigges, Castalia; grandchildren, Brett Walton, Matthew Walton, Breanna Ray, Cooper Tigges, and Isabella Tigges; a great-grandson, Cash Ray; several other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Donald Tigges, Duane Tigges, and Ted Tigges.
Friends may call on Wednesday, July 5, 2023, from 1:30 P.M. until time of memorial services at 2 P.M. in the Oakland Cemetery Chapel, 2917 Milan Rd., Sandusky. Rev. Harvey Studer will officiate. Burial will take place in Oakland Cemetery.
