Carrie M. Caudill, 54, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday afternoon at the Meadows of Osborn Park following a brief illness.
Carrie was born on December 20, 1968 in Sandusky to the late Jackie Caudill and Christine (Geason) Smith.
Carrie was employed with New Horizon Bakery in Norwalk, OH. She enjoyed watching all the Cleveland sports teams as well as the Ohio State Buckeyes, going to concerts, bowling, cooking for her family and spending time with her family and friends, especially the grandchildren.
Carrie is survived by her daughter, Courtney (Seth Routsong Sr.) Cobern of Sandusky; her partner, Craig Ahlers; two step- children, Luke and Sadie Ahlers; two grandchildren, Makenna Cobern and Seth Jr.; one sister, Angie (Jim) Fleeman of Louisiana; one brother, Brian (Angel) Smith of Sandusky; best friend of thirty years, Jennifer Smith; and several nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Including her parents, Carrie was preceded in death by her step-father, Clayton Smith; one son, Richard Michael Cobern; and her grandparents that raised her, Woodrow and Bonnie Caudill.
A Celebration of Carrie's life will be held from 1:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at the Thirsty Pony in the Palm Tree Room in Sandusky, OH. The Groff Funeral Home and Crematory in Sandusky are handling the arrangements for the family.
