Ida "Evelyn" Myers, age 78, of Greenwich and formerly Norwalk, died Monday, May 07, 2012 at Twilight Gardens Home in Norwalk.
She was born January 2, 1934 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Matthew and Arizona (Baldridge) Gullett. She worked at Christie Lane Industries in Norwalk for many years. She enjoyed coloring, puzzles and was beloved by all who knew her and attended the Norwalk Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Charlotte Young of Norwalk and Robert Myers of Norwalk; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; a sister, Marie Gullett of Willard; nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Myers and 2nd husband, Wallace "Walt" Myers; and a brother.
A Graveside service will be held Friday at 10:30 A.M. at Woodlawn Cemetery in Norwalk. The Rev. Gary Streiff, pastor of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Arrangements by the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk
