Betty J. Justice, 91, of Bellevue, died Monday, July 10, 2023 at Stein Hospice in Sandusky.
She was born May 23, 1932 in Williamson, West Virginia to Watt and Mabel S. (Dye) Brooks.
Betty graduated from Williamson High School in 1950. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Unit 83; Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels; and the Order of the Eastern Star in Monroeville.
Betty enjoyed caring for her family, making crafts of all kinds, and working with beautiful flowers. She loved watching and feeding all the animals that would wander into their yard.
On February 24, 1951 she married Homer L. Justice. He preceded her in death on February 2, 2023. In addition to her parents and her husband, Betty was preceded in death by her step-father, Jess Ratcliff.
Betty is survived by her sons: Steven D. (Karen) Justice of Bellevue and Kenneth L. Justice of Georgia; grandchildren: Sierra Justice of Atlanta, Georgia; Collin (Jackie Sevilla) Justice of San Diego, California; Shane (Samantha Magyar) Justice of Cleveland; and great-grandchildren, Bronson, Sasha, and Desiree.
Visitation will be 9:00-10:45am Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at the Auxter Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 1105 Castalia St, Bellevue. Graveside services will follow at 11:00am in Bellevue City Cemetery with Rev. Beth Westphal officiating.
