Shawna Marie Cesare-Hanson, 42, of Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly from an unknown heart condition, Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Fisher-Titus Medical Center.
Shawna was born on January 12, 1981, in Norwalk, OH to Debra (Fortner) and Paul Hanson.
To provide for her family, Shawna worked in management at various local restaurants. She had a very giving heart and put everyone's needs before her own. Her family meant everything to her, and she was happiest with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed swimming and visiting local parks.
Shawna is survived by 4 children, Leayah Hanson of Bellevue, Frankie (Summer) Hanson of Sandusky, Jazmyn Blair of Norwalk, and Corbin Blair of Norwalk; 3 grandchildren, Damarion, Azarion, Na'Leyaha; parents, Debbie and Paul Hanson; 2 sisters, Melissa Cardman of Colorado, and Amanda Groneman of Akron, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other loving relatives.
Shawna was preceded in death by her grandmother, Verna "grandma school bus" Maurer, and uncle, David Hanson.
A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, July 17, 2023, from 2 pm to 5 pm at Norwalk Baptist Church, 3319 Halfway Road, Monroeville, OH 44857. A balloon release will be held after the visitation. Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home is honored to assist the family with arrangements.
