Carol Ash, 83, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, July 30, 2023 at home after a lengthy illness.
She was born on September 6, 1939 in Newburg, West Virginia.
She enjoyed crafts and was very artistic, creative, funny and had lots of energy for being a wife, mother, grandmother and taking care of her family.
She is survived by her daughters: Kim (Sam) Garza, Port Clinton, Stacey (Bruce) Tillman, Sandusky, and Michelle (William) Sieger, Port Clinton; 8 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; 2 sisters Marilyn Haddock, Sandusky and Barb Tucker, South Carolina; 1 brother Paul (Sharon) Hebb, West Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents who raised her, Henry and Irene Davis, Carol is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Ash in 2001 and her brothers James Hebb and Herbert Hebb.
Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. Inurnment will be at Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
