Gary W. Estep, 79, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, July 27, 2023 at The Toledo Hospital after an illness.
He was born October 26, 1943 in Shawanee, Tennessee to Arnold and Faye (Hall) Estep.
Gary graduated from Middlesboro High School in Kentucky. He was employed by both the Ohio Veterans Home and Ford Motor Company. In his spare time, he enjoyed singing, NFL football, and NASCAR.
Gary is survived by his sons, Tony (Katherine) Estep and Kimmy (Giselle) Estep, both of Florida; step-daughters, Gina Wilson, of Sandusky, and Rhonda (Matthew) Johnson, of Charlotte, N.C.; grandchildren, Jennifer Estep and Candace (Miguel) Vazquez, both of Florida, Tiffany (Matthew) Encinas and Matthew Johnson, both of Charlotte, N.C.; great-grandchildren, Kymani and Michael; many step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Gary was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Huffman Estep, in 2016; and brother, Hollis Estep; and ex-wife, Sandy (Harroll) Estep Martin.
Friends may call Thursday, August 3 from 10:00 am until funeral services begin at 12:00 pm at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park.
