Ruby Mae (Johnson) Hearn, 80, Sandusky, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 10, 2012, in the Erie County Care Facility.
She was born on November 23, 1931 in Hardy, MS.
Ruby retired from the Erie County Care Facility in 2003.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Tommie Lee Hearn; children, Fredrick of Canton, OH, Caroline and Marquita of Maryland, Patricia (Johnny), Kenny, Dianna, and Kiniyuna, all of Sandusky, Karen and Mark (Yolanda) , both of Columbus, OH, Bettie (David) Allen of North Carolina, Nathaniel of Arizona; and her daughter, Shella of Sandusky, who died on May 13, 2012; step-daughter, Martha Straughter, Missouri; brother, Earl Johnson, Jr. of Michigan; sisters, Dorothy Herron and Glover Lee Green, both of Illinois; a host of grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Warren and Mamie (Young) Johnson; step-son, Tommie, Jr.; twelve brothers; and two sisters.
Homegoing services for her and her daughter Shella will be held Saturday, May 19, 2012, at 11 A.M. in Agape Love Ministries, 4013 Columbus Ave. Bishop Clifton T. Jones, Sr. will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions may be made to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
