Scott E. Blair, 63, residing in Huron, passed away Thursday, August 10, 2023 at Stein Hospice Care Center after a long battle with cancer.
Scott was born on July 7, 1960 in Sandusky, OH to the late DeLos and Dorothy (Senne) Blair.
He had been employed at both RB's Services in Sandusky and Freudenberg in Milan. Scott's passion was working with his Aunt Mary for Lake Waters Pottery. Together they attendant many art shows and festivals. Scott won many awards for his work. Scott was a member of the Vermillion Art Guild and the Firelands Area Art League. He enjoyed pottery, reading, nature, outdoors, his garden, playing the card game Cribbage and crossword puzzles. Scott had a wonderful dry sense of humor.
Scott is survived by his Aunt's Mary Waters of Huron, OH and Barbara Gentner of Sandusky, OH; sister, Susan Ashley of Sandusky, OH; brother Thomas (Tina) Blair of Sandusky, OH; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
Including his parents Scott was preceded in death by his brother's Craig Blair and Jeffrey Blair.
Private family services will be held and conducted at a later date. The Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, Sandusky, is assisting the family with arrangements.
