Martin J. McNeeley, 72, of Sandusky, passed away Monday, August 21, 2023 at Ohio Veterans Home.
He was born on September 29, 1950 in Cleveland to "Frank" and Evelyn (Reed) McNeeley.
Martin graduated from Cleveland State and Baldwin Wallace. He was a veteran of the Army who proudly served his country from November 25, 1968 to November 8, 1971. He was employed as a accountant. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, music, and rooting for the Cleveland Browns.
Martin is survived by his sons, Jason, Justin, and Colin McNeeley; grandchildren, Preston, Parker, Kaia, Riley, Joy, Chase, and Avery; siblings, Brian, MaryAnn, Patricia, and Michael; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
A military memorial service will be held Friday, August 25 at 11 A.M. at the Ohio Veterans Home, Secrest Auditorium (Level 2), 3416 Columbus Ave., Sandusky, with Chaplain Randy Barlow presiding. An hour of visiting will take place immediately preceding the service (from 10-11 A.M.). Burial will follow in the Ohio Veterans Home Cemetery.
