Charles W. Johnson, 83, Sandusky, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023, at his residence.
He was born on January 11, 1940 in Bucyrus, OH, to the late Ralph and Myrtle Johnson.
He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Charles loved fishing, old Westerns with John Wayne, old country music with Hank Williams, and watching Scooby Doo.
He is survived by his grandson, Paul (Amanda) Capone; granddaughter, Teresa (fiance' James) Sutter; great grandchildren, Zanari, Karson, Elaina, Tiana, Morgan, Nickolas, Trevor, Taylor, Brianna and McKenna; great-great grandchildren, Landon and Emerson; and his dog, Brutus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty; parents; granddaughter, Janelle Capone; and great granddaughter, Sheila.
