Becky Bluhm, 71, residing in Sandusky, and formerly of Logan and Reynoldsburg, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2023.
Rebecca was born on November 25, 1951 in Sandusky, Ohio to the late Clark and Ethel Halladay.
Rebecca graduated from Sandusky High School and was a graduate of Providence School of Nursing. She was employed as a LPN for many years with the Red Cross, Grant Hospital, as a home health nurse and at various physicians offices.
She was an amazing seamstress and handmade her own wedding dress and clothes for family members and friends. She also did other needle work such as cross stitch and crochet. She was a member of Twigs Crafting Group who made crafts to fund a children's hospital. She was a fantastic cook and baker and was an Ohio State football fan.
She is survived by her nephews Scott (Sherri) Halladay and John (Terry) Halladay; nieces Jeanne (Bonnie Donofrio) Halladay, Cheryl Kent, Charlene Halladay and Cyndi Goodine; and numerous great nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her special lifelong friends Sylvia Morgan, Geri Roth and Lucy Miller.
In addition to her parents, Rebecca is preceded in death by her husband, Rodney Bluhm; and two brothers John (Ardeth) Halladay and Charles (Rose) Halladay.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 10 a.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Pastor Wally Gilbert presiding.
Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery, Sandusky.
