Norma F. Jones, 87, of Norwalk passed away peacefully August 29, 2023, in the Norwalk Memorial Home.
She was born December 9, 1935, in Norwalk where she was a lifelong resident.
Norma was a 1954 graduate of Norwalk St. Paul High School. She was employed by Norwalk Furniture, Huron County Sheriff's Department, and the Ohio Unemployment Agency. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville.
She is survived by one daughter, Terri Jones of Westerville, Ohio; one son, Kurt (Laura) Jones of Geneva, Ohio; five grandchildren, Laura, Matt, Gabe, Jade, and Tessa; three great grandchildren; one brother, Stan Strong of Keizer, Oregon; one sister, Mary Ann (Dick) Parish of Norwalk; nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband Dean A. Jones in 2017; two sons, Kelly D. Jones in 1979 and Todd M. Jones in 2004; her parents, Stanley and Mary (Doughty) Strong; and one sister, Audrey Borgia.
Friends may call from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm Tuesday, September 5, 2023, at the Pfeil Funeral Home, Monroeville Chapel, 109 Monroe Street, Monroeville. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, September 6, 2023, in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. Fr. Chris Jesudhason will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Monroeville.
