Kim Burchett Alexander, 54, Sandusky, passed away Monday, August 28, 2023, in the UH Medical Center, Cleveland.
She was born on September 27, 1968 in Sandusky to Regina and Charley Burchett, and graduated from Sandusky High School.
She worked with her father at SE Johnson Construction Co. for a number of years, and then went on to become a member of the Laborer's Union Local 480 in Sandusky, where she worked for 26 years for various contractors. Kim also served as an Auditor for over 7 years on the Executive Board of Laborer's Local 480.
In her spare time she enjoyed reading, fishing, cleaning, and watching her favorite shoe Judge Judy. She loved going to church and singing congregational songs and solos.
She is survived by her son, Katravion Alexander, Sandusky; mother, Pastor Regina Burchett, Sandusky; brothers, Kevin Burchett, Kenny Burchett, Kaire Burchett, Kyle Burchett, and Kameron Burchett; sisters, Kelly Burchett, Kreshea Burchett, Kaiana Kinsinger, and Kayleah (Corey) Brown; a host of nieces, nephews and two great nephews; god brother, Henry Williams; god sister, Daniella Graves-Parker; special friends, Cindy Gregory, Fonda Aaron Hughes, and Sharon McGill; long time friend and father of her son, Shon Brown.
She was preceded in death by her father, Charley Burchett; grandson, Kai'Ceon Demir Alexander; her son's god parents, Desiree and Rex Brown; maternal grandparents, Laura and Robert Carey; paternal grandparents, Dora and Morton Burchett.
Friends may call on Thursday, September 7, 2023, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1219 Pierce St., Sandusky. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery.
