William (Bill) J. Forster, 68, of Wakeman, passed away Thursday September 7, 2023 as the result of a farming accident.
He was born on January 28, 1955 in Oberlin, Ohio to Robert and Theresa (Smith) Forster.
Bill graduated from Western Reserve High School. He was a veteran of the Army who proudly served his country in Germany. He was employed by Born Farms for over 40 years. He was a member of Kipton Community Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed cutting fire wood, working on old lawn mowers, and doing anything for anyone.
Bill is survived by his wife, Linda (Fleming) Forster, whom he married on December 1, 2019. He is also survived by his daughter, Cindy (Matthew Gaughan) Forster of Wakeman, OH; step-daughter, Laralynne Wogerman; step-son, Joshua Csare; sisters, Rose Ann Maga, Norma Brundage, Sharon Baltzell; brother, Eugene (Denise) Forster; grandchildren, Ayla Gaugham, Travis Hunkins, Qohelet Nabozny; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son; Jeremy Forster.
Friends may call on Monday, September 11, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 pm and 6:00-8:00 pm at Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday September 12 at 11:00 am at Toft Funeral Home, Wakeman Chapel, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman with Rev. Lee Stull presiding. Burial will follow in Birmingham Cemetery, Wakeman, Ohio.
