David Lee Clinton

David Lee Clinton, 50, of Sandusky, departed this life suddenly on Wednesday evening, May 16, 2012 at his home.
He was born November 20, 1961in Sandusky. He attended Sandusky City Schools, graduating in 1982.

David attended Robinson Temple Church in his early years. He was recently employed by Steak ‘n Shake and worked for Perkins Restaurant and Bob Evans for many years.

David enjoyed life. He loved to make people laugh. He was the king of fishing. He also enjoyed cooking, football, basketball, and spending time with his family and friends, who were most dear to him.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Demetric Clinton; daughters, Latisha Clinton, Mechianna Clinton, and Sherika Harvey; sons, David (Amy) Clinton, Dashawn Clinton, and Davemedrion Clinton; 6 sisters, Dorothy Lofties, Billie Jean (Toby) McKinney, Christine Lately, Josephine Clinton, Cathy Young, and Willene Arrington; 3 brothers, Fredrick (Pat) Clinton, Thomas (Andera) Clinton, and Rodney Arrington; mother-in-law, Eva Pool; 3 sisters-in-law, Alice (Rob) Scott, Angela Cooley, and Sharlene Warren; special friends, Lynn Lewis, Tommy Brown, Steve Hamilton, Aaron Vaughn, Kerry Peake, and BJ Johnson; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

David was preceded in death by his parents, James Clinton and Catherine (Brown) Clinton Arrington; sisters, Mary Belle Wimbley, Martha Clinton, and Annette Clinton; brothers, Frank Clinton and Jimmy Dale Clinton; and step-father, Willie James Arrington.

Friends may call from 12 Noon on Friday, May 25, 2012 until time of funeral services at 1 P.M. at Emmanuel Temple Church, 128 E. Adams St., Sandusky. Bishop Rufus G.W. Sanders will officiate. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky is assisting the family with arrangements.
