Thelma Jean (Osborne) Combs, age 81, of Norwalk passed away Tuesday, September 26, 2023, in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.
She was born March 25, 1942, in Bonny Blue, Virginia to the late Edna Sibyl Peterson (Robert Frey) and late Cecil Osborne.
Jean was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family. She will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved her.
She survived by her loving devoted husband of 64 years, RB Combs; Children, Gina (David) Withrow, Douglas (Tricia Baker) Combs, Kimberly (Ron) Harp; and grandchildren, Angela (Jay) Nickles, Breanna (Russell) Mantz, Bryan Combs, Brad (Nicole) Withrow, Bobby (Amber) Harp, Mandi (Anthony) Stang, Haleigh Skinner; 12 great grandchildren; and her lifelong friend, Jean Ingersoll; brother-in-law, Hillard (Cam) Bates.
A funeral service will be held Sunday, October 1, 2023, at 4:00 P.M. at the Evans Funeral Home, 314 E. Main Street, Norwalk. Private interment will be held at a later date.
