Catherine L. Roth age 79 of Clyde passed away peacefully at home Thursday, May 24, 2012 after a determined effort to lead a full life despite her 2 decade battle with Parkinson's disease. She was born September 24, 1932 in Seneca County the daughter of the late Sylvester & Lucy (Wagner) Tiell.

She married Robert F. Roth September 15, 1956 at St. Nicholas Church, Frenchtown, he survives in Clyde.
Catherine was a homemaker and worked over the years at the Tiffin GE Plant and St. Francis Nursing Home. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, Clyde where she was a member of the Altar Rosary Society and was an active volunteer at the school. Catherine enjoyed gardening, baking, and crafts.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her daughters; Rosalyn (Andy) Schindley of Bellevue, Mary (Loren) Leidheiser of Lewis Center, sons; Jerry(Mary Lou) Roth of Bellevue, David(Nancy) Roth of Fremont, grandchildren; Amy & Luke Roth, Rob & Brooke Roth, Allison, Ben & Cory Schindley, Brittney & Nicholas Leidheiser, brother; Florian "Pete" (Joyce) Tiell , sisters - in - laws Arlene Tiell & Betty Roth and brothers - in - Laws James Gase and Paul Roth.

Friends will be received on Sunday, May 27, 2012 from 3 - 8 pm at Foos Funeral Home & Cremation Service, 504 E. McPherson, Clyde where the Rosary will be recited at 7:30 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Monday, May 28, 2012 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's Catholic Church, 609 Vine St., Clyde. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, Tiffin.
