Elaine Mae (Keefer) Martin, 94, of Sandusky, passed away Thursday, October 5, 2023 at Gaymont Nursing Home, Norwalk.
She was born on August 29, 1929 in Toledo, Ohio to the late Timothy Linden and Ardella Mae (Robertson) Keefer. She graduated from Willard High School in the class of 1947.
She had worked at Philco, Hill's Department Store, as a foreman at Sandusky Plastics/Foster Grant, and as a secretary/bookkeeper at Martin Motors. Elaine attended Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses Cedar Point Congregation. In her spare time, she enjoyed bowling, yard work, puzzles, playing cards, Farmville, Facebook, and Eagles.
She is survived by her daughters, Tina (Ron) Wildenthaler and Kathleen "Kitty" Martin of Sandusky, sister, Beverly Yoha, Bradenton, Florida, 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and her cat, Ebony.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by former husband, Donald Martin (2011) and her brother, Wayne Keefer (2017).
Friends may call at 10 AM on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 until time of Memorial Service at 11 AM at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, with Greg Seavers officiating.
Private burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Willard, Ohio.
