William J. Lyons, 62, residing in Fremont and formerly of Sandusky, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, October 6, 2023, while at work.
He was born on March 26, 1961 in Sandusky to the late William L. Lyons and Phylis (Pocock) Wadding. Bill was a 1979 graduate of Sandusky High School.
He was employed by the Heinz Company in Fremont and also worked for Thacker Industries, M.I. Meadows and MetaliCo.
Bill loved going out to eat, playing card and board games, being creative and Hamm radios.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Dana (Beechler) Lyons; children, Elizabeth (Adam) Lieb, Eric (Heidi) Lyons, and Dusten (Narmeen) Lyons; grandchildren, Colin, Brady, Owen, Audrey, Lucy, and Flynn; sisters, Marsha Lyons, and Roxanne (Andy) Lyons Hardt; brother, Eugene (Jan) Lyons; father-in-law, Mike Beechler; several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and mother-in-law, Judy Beechler.
