Stanley A. Saleski, 77, residing in Sandusky, passed away Sunday, October 8, 2023.
Stanley was born on May 3, 1946 in Wilkes-Barre, PA to the late Lewis and Martha (Januszewski) Saleski.
Stanley graduated from Hanover Memorial High School and was a graduate of 1966. He was a Veteran of the Army who proudly served his country from September 21, 1967 to June 6, 1970. He was employed and retired as a Building Maintenance for the Federal Government. Stanley was a life member of Sandusky V.F.W., Disabled American Veterans, and Sts. Peter & Paul Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed reading, fishing and painting.
Stanley is survived by his great nephew, Thomas (Julie) Saleski Jr. of Bellevue, Ohio, great-grand nephews Garrett and Gavin, sister, Louise A Mayus of Florida and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Stanley is preceded in death by wife, Bonita Sue Saleski, his brother, William E. Saleski, sister, June R. Horvath and nephew, Thomas Saleski Sr.
Friends may call on Thursday, October 12, 2023 from 8:30 until time of Prayer Service at 9:30 am at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, October 12, 2023 at 10:00 am at Sts. Peter & Paul Church, with Father Zach Brown presiding. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Sandusky, Ohio.
