Mary L. Milkie, 93, of Bellevue passed away Friday, May 25, 2012 at Ridgewood Manor in Maumee, Ohio.
She was born November 30, 1918 in Norwalk, the daughter of Philip and Edith (Weilnau) Leber. She married Willard Milkie on December 7, 1936 in Indiana; he preceded her in death in 1975.
Mary was a member of the Bellevue Eagles Auxiliary, she enjoyed traveling, cooking, collecting dolls and Thimbles.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Roger (Ann) Root of Flat Rock, Melinda (Doug) Cory of Republic, Nathan (Kim) Root of Bellevue; great grandchildren, Eric, James and Gloria Root, Cameron, Dalton, and Morgan Cory and Gregory and Melissa Root. Also surviving are her siblings, Dick (June) Leber of Willard, Erma Homan of Monroeville, and Juanita Reese of Monroeville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, and Daughter and son - law, Sandra and Eben Root and 2 brothers.
Friends will be received on Tuesday, May 29, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Flat Rock Cemetery.
