Alfred P. Thomas Sr., 85, of Berlin Heights, Ohio died Sunday, October 15, 2023 at his residence, following a lengthy illness.
He was born August 6, 1938 in Montgomery, WV. to the late Edmond and Anna (Smith) Thomas.
Alfred proudly served in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in 1958. He was a member of The Masonic Temple of Norwalk, Ohio in which he was very involved. He really enjoyed the camaraderie of the fraternal organization. In his spare time, Alfred relished in going out to eat, especially at Jordan's Country diner. He loved sun bathing on his porch, and spending time with his family.
He is survived by his loving wife of 49years, Helen (Bobryk) Thomas; his daughters, Kim, Toni, and Joni; his son, Dane (Amy) Thomas; many grand and great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and his dear friend, Dave Biemler.
Including his parents, he is preceded in death by his children, Sally Franklin and Alfred "Phil" Thomas Jr.; and his three siblings.
Friends may call, Wednesday, October 18, 2023 from 4pm until time of Masonic services and funeral service at 6pm at Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South St., Berlin Heights, OH, 44814.
