Ronald Mader, 81, Born May 5th, 1942 passed away Monday, October 16th, 2023 at Parkvue Community Health Care in Sandusky, Ohio.
He was born in Granada, Colorado to Adam and Destine (Trueblood) Mader.
He grew up on a farm and became a teacher, coach, and principal all in Colorado. He retired from education and moved to Phoenix, where he owned several businesses and then to Las Vegas. After that he came to Sandusky to work and run the wood shop at Cedar Point.
Ronald is survived by his daughter, Jacqui (Mark) Brunton of California, grandson, Bryson Campbell of Connecticut, sisters, Carol Jones of Colorado, Sherry (Bob) Clark of Missouri and Roxanne (Larry) Souza of Illinois. He is also survived by his partner Jan Semple, her family, Mike (Jill) Semple of Huron, daughter, Lisa Semple (Andy) Ernst of Michigan, and grandsons, Otto & Joe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, Vernon and brother-in-law, Jim Jones.
Funeral and burial arrangements are taking place in Colorado and a Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, November 4th, 2023 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at The Legacy Center, 1522 East Perkins Ave. Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
