Marcus L.  Daniels

Marcus L. Daniels, 68, of Berlin Heights, passed away Monday October 30, 2023 at University Hospital, Cleveland.

He was born on August 21, 1955 in Sandusky to Sidney and Virginia (Schuh) Daniels, and resided in Berlin Heights his whole life.

Marcus graduated from Edison in 1973 then attended BGSU, Firelands Campus to study electronics and television repair. Marc owned and operated Daniels Hobbies in Berlin Heights for 38 years then relocated the shop to Norwalk in 2016. He loved playing music with family and friends. He played in a band called "No Agenda" and recently made a few appearances at the American Legion socials in town.

He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church in Huron. He was also a member of the Lorain Remote Control Club, the Birmingham Cloud Climbers, Vermilion Fish and Game, Berlin Twp. Farmers & Hunters Conservation Club and in 2014 the Landing Zone (LZ) Remote Control Club where he served as V.P. as well as the treasurer. He won many trophies for his remote-control model plane flying abilities.

Marcus is survived by his aunts and uncle; Aunt Wilma (Parker) Schuh, Jim and Aunt Pie (Daniels) Lowry as well as numerous cousins and other relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Sidney and Virginia (Schuh) Daniels, grandparents; Franklin "Brownie" and Leota Daniels, Gilbert and Henrietta Schuh; uncles and aunts; Bernard Schuh; Albert and Aunt Betty (Schuh) Novotny. Uncle Lawrence "Larry" Schuh, as well as Richard and Marilyn (Schuh) Sterrett.

Cremation will take place. Friends may call on Friday November 10, 2023 from 10 am until the time of the service at 12 Noon in Toft Funeral Home, Hinman Chapel, 38 South Street, Berlin Heights. Burial will immediately follow at Peaks Cemetery on Darrow Rd., Berlin Township.
