JoAnn Caudill

JoAnn Caudill, 86, of Norwalk, Ohio, died Friday, December 1, 2023.

She was born March 18, 1937, in Elizabeth, West Virginia to the late John W. and Flossie J. (Woodring) Reed.

She lived in this area most of her life. JoAnn enjoyed trips to see her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening, camping, writing poetry, and going on outings with family and friends. She also enjoyed spending time with her Pomeranian, "Teddy Bear."

She was a member of Faith Builders Church of God in Willard, Ohio. JoAnn was employed as an LPN at Gaymont Nursing Home where she worked for 37 years. She retired in 1999.

She is survived by her children: Dan Gaddy of Cincinnati, OH (Fiancé Patty); Pam and Nick Marmo of Deming, WA, Lou Ann and Wayne Weitzel of Norwalk, OH; Lora and Randy Rowe of Norwalk, OH; Donna Gaddy of Bellevue, OH. She is also survived by her brother Rodger "Bill" and his wife Linda Reed, 13 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and many great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, JoAnn was preceded in death by Ollie Gaddy, Hugh "Gordy" Holmes, and Frank Caudill, her son Brian Gaddy, a grandson Bernard Gaddy, Grandson, R. Jason Rowe, Sisters, Dorothy Sanders, Patsy Scherley, twin sisters, Betty Brunn and Nettie Kiser, her brother, John N. Reed.

Funeral services will be held at the conclusion of the visitation at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk, OH. Friends may call on Tuesday, December 5, 2023, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Entombment will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park Mausoleum in Huron, OH.
