Lavoro Hills, 39, Sandusky, went to be with the Lord on Monday, November 27, 2023, in the Cleveland Clinic, surrounded by his loving family.
He was affectionately known as "Voro" or "Vilo" to his family and friends, and was born in Sandusky on January 18, 1984 to the union of Odell Hollinger and Rebecca Hartley, and graduated from Sandusky High School in 2003.
Lavoro was full of love, loving his children and family.
He liked to go fishing with his sister and brothers, a big game head, Green Bay Packers fan, and loved his East Adams Street crew, Jamarcus, Willie P., Deontae, Jarmon "Money", Tyrone, Tyrondi, TJ, Deville, Tywaun, and Alisha Brown.
Lavoro leaves to cherish his memory, loving mother, Rebecca (Stephen) Hartley, Father, Odell Hollinger, special friend, Rashina Brown, daughters, Darlazzia Brown, Lavarieasia Hills, and Ployality Hills, son, Royale Hills Brown, step children, Angel Brown, and Jaden Brown, brothers, Tarrence "Phatz" Hills, William Ruffin Jr., Troy (Aleaha) Scott Jr., JaQuanan Ramsey, and Travion Wright, sisters, LaTasha Hills and Tracy "Shavaria" Scott, aunts, Thelma (Darryl) Pennix, Denise Williams, and Erica Thomas.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Willie Hills, maternal grandmother, Deerita Pennix, paternal grandmother, Lillie Mae Hollinger, maternal grandfather, Wardell Brown, sister, Time Terrell, maternal uncle, Dennis Pennix, aunt, Beatrice Stevenson, uncles, William Hall, Harold Hollinger, Robert Pollard, Nate Hollinger.
Friends may call on Friday, December 8, 2023, from 11 A.M. until time of funeral services at 12 P.M. Noon in Ebenezer Baptist Church, 1215 Pierce St., Sandusky. Minister Howard Carr will officiate.
