Dale H. Baker, 91, of Wakeman, passed away Monday December 4, 2023 at Mercy, New Life Hospice, Lorain, OH.
He was born on November 13, 1932 in Rockwood, Pennsylvania to Charles and Margaret (Mossholder) Baker.
After graduation from High School, Dale joined the Army Signal Corps. He proudly served his country state side from 1953-1955 during the Korean War. He was employed at Ford Motor Co. where he worked for 30 years. Dale was a member of Birmingham Methodist Church. In his spare time, he enjoyed being a Ham radio operator, known as WA8 IUL. He would help anyone, whenever and wherever, he could.
Dale is survived by his daughter, Pamela (David) Wash; sisters, Deloris Mae Bungard and Mary Elizabeth Ream; brother, Donald Lee Baker; 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Dale was preceded in death by his wife Anna (Saas) Baker; sisters, Virginia Grace, Betty Jane, Thelma Marie, Anna Margaret; brothers, Chester Eugene, Edward , Carl Francis, and Charles Baker Jr.
Friends may call on Friday, December 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the service at 11:00 am at Toft Funeral Home, 16 Cooper Street, Wakeman, OH. with Rev. Dick Kretchmar presiding. Burial will follow in Birmingham Cemetery.
