Susan Marie McKenzie, 65, of Sandusky, went to her eternal resting place after battling a lengthy illness on December 10, 2023. Despite her illness she maintained her signature positive attitude and kind disposition.
She was born June 25, 1958 in Sandusky to John and Shirley (Harmon) Ferguson. She graduated from Sandusky High School in 1976 and retired from Sandusky City Schools in 2020. In her spare time, she enjoyed camping, going for motorcycle rides, and traveling. She also loved spending time with her friends and family. If music was playing, it was guaranteed that she would be dancing.
Susan will be greatly missed by her husband, Raymond; daughter, April Terenzi, of Huron; son, Chuck (Tami) McKenzie, of Sandusky; grandson, Memphis; sister, Pamela (George) Davenport; brothers, John Ferguson, Jr. and Rick (Vikki) Ferguson; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Susan was preceded in death by her brother, Scott Ferguson.
Friends may call on Thursday, December 14 from 4-7 P.M. at Toft Funeral Home & Crematory, 2001 Columbus Ave., Sandusky.
