Diane Marie (Brightman) Edwards, 69, of Sandusky, went to heaven Thursday, December 14, 2023 at Parkvue Health Care Center. She lost her battle to cancer after a long and hard fight.
She was born May 16, 1954 to Richard and Dorothy (Mesenburg) Brightman.
Diane was a 1972 graduate of Margaretta High School. She earned her degree from Ohio Business College. She was employed at Wal-Mart and the Sandusky Register. Diane was a longtime member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles #2875, Huron, where she served as part of the women's auxiliary team for several years. Her grandchildren were everything to her.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Amy (Rodney) Seabrook, of Summerville, SC; daughter, Reena Neff, of Sandusky; son, Richard Nason, of Vermilion; grandchildren, Hailey Neff, Brianna Neff, Makayla Nason, Annielle Seabrook, Rodney Seabrook Jr, James Neff, Adilynne Seabrook, Chase Nason, Benaiah Seabrook, Lydia Sauer, Noah Chutes, Zoie Nason, and Storm Nason; half-brother, Dennis Wenzke; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to her parents, Diane was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Edwards; brothers, Ronald and Donald Brightman; and sister, Darlene (Terry) Snyder.
At Diane's request, cremation will take place with no services for the public.
