Michael G. Nutter, 65, Sandusky, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023, in University Hospital, Cleveland.
He was born in Sandusky on April 28, 1958 and graduated from Huron High School in 1976.
He was employed for 31 years at Glidden and retired from Ventra.
He loved fishing, boating, riding his motorcycle, winter trips to Florida, and taking care of his cars, taking Sunday drives with his wife, and their weekly ice cream treats at Dairy Queen. He was a person that loved to help people and show love to his dogs.
He is survived by his wife, Mindy (Damanti) Nutter; mother, Brenda Toth; children, Mandy Hickman, Chadd Nutter, Craig (Sarah) Nutter, Carlie (Bradley) Andres, and Cristina (Ethan) Unzicker; grandchildren, Hayley, Grant, Olive, Evelyn, Galilee, Anchor, Arie, Abraham, Norah, Daveed, and Bear; sisters, Victoria (Sercan) Gunbatar, Misty Toth, Julia Toth, and Deanna (Alonzo) Harris; brothers, Rocky (Cara) Nutter, and Kevin (Rachel) Toth; several nieces and nephews; and his special companion, his dog, Bella.
He was preceded in death by his father, Gene Nutter; step father, John Toth; daughter, Cassondra "Cassie" Ground; granddaughter, Hosanna Jael Unzicker; brother, Bruce Boling; father and mother-law, Anthony and Patricia Damanti; and his dog, Maggie.
Friends may call on Friday, December 29, 2023 from 5-8 P.M. in Faith Church, 1320 E. Strub Rd., Sandusky. Friends may also call on Saturday from 9 A.M. until time of funeral services at 10 A.M. in the church. Rev. Tom Groot will officiate. Burial will follow in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron. Memorial contributions may be made in Michael's name to Humane Society of Erie County, 1911 Superior St., Sandusky, OH 44870, or to Cassondra "Cassie" Ground Memorial Scholarship Fund.
