Randy T. Griggs, 63, residing in Sandusky, passed away Monday, December 25, 2023 at Cleveland Metro Health Center after a lengthy illness.
Randy was born on December 29, 1959 in Sandusky, OH to the late Thomas Griggs and Joan (Garvin) Killian.
Randy graduated from Sandusky High School and was a graduate of 1978. He was a Welder, Truck Driver and Diesel Mechanic. Randy was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church. Randy enjoyed fishing, hunting, watching sports, especially Cleveland teams and Ohio State and spending time with his family and friends.
Randy is survived by his sons, Ryan (Abby) Griggs of Sandusky, Matthew (Sarah) Griggs of Bowling Green; step-daughter, Andrea (Brandon) Blankenship of Bellevue and step-son Michael Allison of Sandusky.
He is also survived by his 6 grandchildren; 2 great greatchildren; brothers, Robert (Sylvia) Griggs, Steven (Marlene) Griggs, Jeff Griggs, Thomas (Cathy) Griggs; and step-brother, Art Killian and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
In addition to his parents, Randy is preceded in death by his step-father, Daniel Killian Sr.; sister, Julie Killian; and brother, Daniel Killian Jr.
Friends may join the family for a Celebration of Life for Randy on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at 4:00 p.m - 7:00 p.m. at Groff Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1607 E. Perkins Ave., Sandusky.
