James Limbird III, 85, of Monroeville passed away Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at his residence.
He was born January 5, 1927 in Monroeville the son of James P., Sr. and Dorothy (Stippey) Limbird. He married his wife, Dolores (Buchman) on February 20, 1954 at St. Michael's Church; she preceded him in death in 2009.
He was a member of St. Joseph's Church, Monroeville, a former member of the Bellevue Eagles Aerie 490 and Milan Rod & Gun. He was a 1946 graduate of Monroeville High School, and worked as a farmer and builder. He enjoyed gardening, woodworking, bird houses, and being around the nature at his farm.
He is survived by his two children, James R. (Cathy) Limbird of Attica, Colleen (Dick) Leber of Bellevue; grandchildren, Laura (Neil) Dunbar, Sara Limbird, Monica (Travis) Dunbar, Michael Limbird, Emily Limbird, Richard P. Leber, Nathan Leber, Mara Leber and Jena Leber; great grandchildren, Logan Dunbar, Samantha Dunbar and Carter Leber; and his sisters, JoAnn Miller of Norwalk and Dorothy (James) McFadden of Florida. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, infant grandson James C. Limbird and sister, Jean Breland.
Private funeral services and burial will be held. Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue is in care of arrangements.
