Audrey J. (Alton) Boesch, 87, of Sandusky, passed away on Thursday evening, June 14, 2012 in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born on December 26, 1924 in Sandusky, and was a graduate of Sandusky High School. She also attended Bowling Green State University.
Audrey was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sandusky. She loved to bowl in her earlier years. She also loved music, playing the french horn in the Vacationland Band and the Northcoast Band.
Audrey is survived by sons, Terrence Lee (Agnes) Boesch, Sandusky, and Alton John "Al" (Patricia) Boesch, St. Petersburg, FL; grandchildren, Kristopher Boesch, Jared Boesch, and Tara Frost; four great-grandchildren; a step-great-grandchild; sisters, Marie Cole, Sandusky, and Lois Hottenroth, Florida; brother, Jack Alton, Florida; and sister-in-law, Dolly Boesch.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Norman R. Boesch, on April 4, 2011; her parents, John M. and Cora C. (Werner) Alton; and grandson, Mike Boesch.
There will be no visitation. A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 20, 2012 at St. Paul Lutheran Church, 2211 Mills St., Sandusky. Rev. Gary Ulrich will officiate. Memorial Contributions may be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, or to Stein Hospice Service, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, OH 44870.
