Loving husband, father, and Son; Nicky Ray Bobo was taken by the hand of our Lord to a quieter, gentler place at 12:07 am June 25th, 2012.
He was born July 30, 1951 in Haleyville, Alabama to Ray and La Vaughn Bobo. Raised with love, respect and loyalty along with 2 sisters; Cheryl and Sandy Bobo.
They moved to Bellevue in 1965 where he graduated from Bellevue High School in 1969. In 1971 he was called into duty to serve in the United States Army, and was honorably discharged in 1973. He became a local laborer at Chemtron, and later Armstrong Air, until they closed in 2006, and a short while at American Bailer.
He met Judy Eberle in 1978 and they married in 1995. They raised 2 children, James Guy & Maliah Bobo. They have 1 grandbaby, Lily Rain Guy, who he adored dearly.
He is survived by his loving wife; Judy Bobo; children; James & Maliah Bobo; grandbaby; Lily, mother; La Vaughn Bobo, Sister; Sandy (Jim) Brown, Niece, Chasta (Alfred) Wilson, nephews; Cente & Shay Santana and 5 great nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his loving father & sister Robert Bobo & Cheryl (Bobo) Watters of Bellevue, his loving grandparents Blanche & Henry Garrard, and Daisy & Robert Bobo, all of Alabama.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 28, 2012 from 11:00 am until service time at 1:00 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. Burial will follow at York Chapel Cemetery.
