Donald Fritz, Sr. age 82 of Bellevue passed away Friday June 29, 2012 at The Willows at Bellevue.
He was born September 8, 1929 in Marywood the son of the late Peter & Edith (Ruffing) Fritz.
Don was a farmer and retired from Whirlpool Corp, in Clyde. He was a member of St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, the Bellevue Eagles and VFW. He enjoyed hunting and playing cards.
He is survived by his son; Donald (Pam) Fritz of Bellevue, daughters; Janice (Larry) McCowan, Kathy Houlett & Gary Houlett, Carolyn Kocher & Mike Kocher, Amy (Scott) Moyer all of Bellevue, grandchildren Eric Fritz, Leslie(Mike) Benton, Bradley Provenzale, Brooke & Dustin Austin, Allan & Ashley Kocher, Jackson, Lukas, Hudson, Cooper Moyer, and a great granddaughter Arwen Provenzale.
In addition to his parents his beloved wife Amelia (Phillips) Fritz whom he married September 11, 1954 at St. Sebastian Church, son in law Terry Provenzale, and his sister Catherine Steinmetz preceded him in death.
Friends will be received on Sunday, July 1, 2012 from 2-4 & 6-8 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service,151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. The rosary will be recited at 1:30 Sunday. A funeral Mass will be held Monday, July 2, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Gaspar del Bufalo Church, 16209 E Seneca CR 46, Bellevue. Burial will follow at St. Michael Cemetery.
