Garneda Ruth "Penny" Marschke, age 88, of Clyde, died Friday afternoon, July 6, 2012, in Providence Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born April 1, 1924, in Sandusky, and was a graduate of Townsend High School. She was a member of Clyde Gospel Hall.
Penny is survived by one son David (Rose) Marschke of Sandusky; 3 grandchildren Dawn Marschke, Shawn (Gemma) Marschke, and Amy (Rick) McLain; and one great granddaughter Lillian McLain.
She was preceded in death by her husband Robert in 1986; twin daughters; 2 sisters Ester Meyers and Mary Rotsinger; and 2 brothers Kenneth and Darrel Rowe.
Friends may call from 10 am Tuesday, July 10, 2012, until time of services at 11 am in the Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Pastor Bob Miller will officiate. Burial will be in Parkhurst Cemetery.
