Peggy R. (Fultz) Nejedly

Peggy R. (Fultz) Nejedly, 50, Sandusky, was called to her heavenly home after she lost her struggle waiting for a lung transplant, early Tuesday morning, July 10, 2012, in the Cleveland Clinic.
She was born on October 22, 1961 in Columbus, Ohio.

She was a 1979 graduate of Sandusky High School and a 1983 graduate of Bowling Green State University.

Peggy worked for R.S. Business Solutions, the Erie County Chamber of Commerce, and Zion Lutheran Church.

She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Sandusky, where she served on church council, was a Saturday worship team leader - where she played the flute, was an evangelism leader, member of the bell choir and the senior choir, and taught Sunday School and bible study. Peggy was a graduate of LEADS, past board member of the American Red Cross, and gave countless of hours volunteering for various organizations.

Peggy touched many lives through her Christian evangelism; she taught the true meaning of unconditional love, as a wife, mother, daughter, sister, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her husband, John, whom she married on February 8, 1986; parents, Kenneth and Lela (Corwin) Fultz, Sandusky; daughters, Brooke (Ryan Spaulding) Nejedly Jones, Huron, and Clare Nejedly, Sandusky; grandchildren, Julia, Sophia, and Dominic; sisters, Kathy (Dennis) Kotz, North Augusta, S.C., Sally (Lee) Carter, Ogden, UT, Nancy (Tom) Kinsel, and Linda (Jeff) Kerst, both of Sandusky; loved by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents; and a nephew, Robert Kotz.

Friends may call on Saturday, July 14, 2012, from 10 A.M. until time of memorial services at 11 A.M. in Zion Lutheran Church, 503 Columbus Ave., Sandusky. Rev. John Mawhirter will officiate. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church, American Lung Association, 226 St. Rt. 61 E. Norwalk, OH 44857, or to Donate Life Ohio, Second Chance Trust Fund, 246 N. High St., Columbus, OH 43125.
