Carol Madeline (Goins) Harkleroad, 80, of Sandusky, died Thursday morning, July 12, 2012, in the Stein Hospice Care Center.
She was born March 29, 1932, in Danese, WV, was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, and was a retired employee of Scott Paper Co. She enjoyed garage sales, fishing, and being a grandmother.
Carol is survived by 2 daughters Debra D. Hultgren and Vicki D. (Eric) Weiss both of Sandusky; 3 grandchildren Nicole K. (James) Fredrick of Anchorage, AK, Matthew E. Zorn of Cincinnati, OH, and Brenna K. Hultgren of Sandusky.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Eldridge E. Goins, on May 18, 1979; her second husband Cecil Harkleroad, on Dec. 22, 2000; and many siblings.
Friends may call from 10 am Saturday, July 14, 2012, until time of services at 11 am in the Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. Pastor Jamie Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
