Wallace "Wally" Millis, age 72, of Bay Bridge, died Monday morning at his residence following a brief illness.
He was born July 15, 1938, in Sandusky, and worked as a carpenter for over 35 years. He was a member of St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, NRA, Ducks Unlimited, was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors, and was a U. S. Army Veteran.
He is survived by his wife, the former Marlene Meyers; one daughter Melissa (Kevin) Balduff; two sons Wade Millis and Vance (Carolyn) Millis; 2 granddaughters Courtney and Maci Ann; two sisters Shirley Meyer and Cathy (Warren) Stubbelbine; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Wallace and Dorothy (Kessler) Millis and a sister Rita Brasch. Private services for the family will be Wednesday in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia, with the Rev. Kathleen Suggitt officiating. Burial will be in Castalia Cemetery.
