Alton "Bud" Sengstock, age 68, of Clyde, died Wednesday morning in Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
He was born March 16, 1942, in Sandusky, and attended Margaretta High School. He was employed by Mosser Construction for 28 years, and was a member of Laborers Union #480, and Trinity Lutheran Church of Sandusky.
Bud is survived by his wife the former Patricia Dauch; one son Thomas "Deb" Sengstock of Bellevue; one daughter Julie "Mike Trautman" Keckler of Sandusky; 2 step-sons Tony "Sonya" Smith of Clyde and David Smith of Fremont; 9 grandchildren Alex, Joshua, Justin, Elizabeth, Michelle, Joey, Jessica, Brooke, and Tyler; 3 great grandchildren; 4 sisters Margaret Lieb of Sandusky, Joyce Cheek of Sandusky, Dorothy Shirey of Castalia, and Alice "Don" Kuns of Bay View; sister-in-law Lynnette Galloway of Sandusky; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents Alton and Lena (Young) Sengstock and one brother Charles Galloway.
Visitation and services for the family will be held in Ransom Funeral Home, 610 S. Washington St., Castalia. The Rev. Philip Gardner will officiate. Burial will be in Meadow Green Memorial Park, Huron.
