Candace Y. "Candy" Jones-Garrett, 48, Sandusky, departed this life early Sunday morning, September 2, 2012, at her residence.
She was born on March 20, 1964 in Sandusky, and attended Sandusky City Schools.
She was employed by various places, presently Kalahari Waterpark and Resorts.
All who knew Candy know that she was a loud, fun, and loving person, with a boisterous personality. She loved spending time with her close friends, family, and she especially treasured moments with her beloved grandchildren.
Candy leaves to cherish her memory her daughters, Janeaya and Jessica; father, Charles E. Jones; brothers, Charles, Timothy, and Kelly (Andrea Webb) Jones; sister, Rochelle (Elijah) Wooten, Jr.; grandchildren, Keaira Brown, Aqueria Brown, Mekhi Brown, and Nakhyra Brown; nieces and nephews, Christopher Jones, Gabrielle Jones, Anthonee Jones, Jacob Jones, LaToya Diaz-Jones, Adam Diaz, Aaron Jones, Diaz Wooten, Robert Bagley, Bryce Jones, Jordan Jones, and E'Leesha Wooten; special cousin, Deborah Robinson; beloved aunts, Alexine Hicks and Willie Mae Wilson; very special friends, Adele Hasan, Tracy Alexander, Freda Ibermere, and Elnora "Ducky" Cook; a host of other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Gloria (Wilson) Jones; sister, Tryna R. Jones-Bagley; and special friend, Theophilus "Tony" Danzy.
At Candy's request, cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held Friday, September 7, 2012 at 11 A.M. at New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 1920 Eddy Henry Way, Sandusky. Rev. Dorothy Kent will officiate.
