Ruth E. David, age 92, of Sandusky, died Monday, September 3, 2012 at Erie County Care Center.
She was born August 14, 1920 in Sandusky to the late Anthony and Helen Peterson. She was a graduate of Sandusky High School, worked at Miller Drug, and retired as secretary at the Providence Hospital School of Nursing. She moved to Port Clinton in 1968,
where she became a member of the Presbyterian Church. She then returned to Sandusky after retirement. She enjoyed sailing and spending time with her family and friends.
She is survived by her children, David A. David of Mexico, and Victoria L. (Gary L.) Geiger of Huron; grandchildren, Natalie Deitz, Stephanie VanBenschoten, Aaron David and Brian David; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken David.
Private interment will be held at a later date. Arrangements by the Pfeil Funeral Home, 617 Columbus Avenue, Sandusky.
