Theresa Rose Baptista age 88 of Bellevue passed away Friday, September 14, 2012 at the Bellevue Care Center.
She was born September 8, 1924 in Bellevue the daughter of the late Sam & Josephine (Giammo) Baptista.
Theresa retired after 39 years from General Electric, Bellevue Lamp Plant after 39 years.
She was a 1943 graduate of Bellevue High School, a member of Immaculate Conception Church, it's Altar Rosary Society, and the former Club-Ameri-Ital. Theresa enjoyed bowling and was a volunteer for many years at the Immaculate School cafeteria.
She is survived by 14 nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents her brothers; Sam Baptista, Charlie Baptista, William Baptista, and sisters; Teresa Baptista and Flossie Laviola preceded her in death.
Friends will be received on Monday, Sep. 17, 2012 from 4 - 8 pm, with the Rosary being recited at 7:30 pm at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
A funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, Sep. 19, 2012 at 11:00 am in Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will be in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
