Thomas L. Capucini, 61, Sandusky, died on Thursday, September 20, 2012, in Firelands Regional Medical Center.
He was born on March 15, 1951 in Sandusky, to the late Otto and Mildred (Lombardi) Capucini.
Tom was a graduate of Sandusky High School.
He was a employee of Whirlpool for 25 years and also worked for Routh Packing Company.
He was a drummer for the band Aftermath, and was learning to play the guitar. Tom loved the Cleveland Indians and Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Becky (Shellhorn) Capucini; children, Amber (Rick) Ramos, Port Clinton, John (Amanda) Costello, Republic, and Tracy Chong, Clyde; grandchildren, Dakota, Lacy, Grady, Dahlia, Elisa, and Lilly; granddog, LE May; sister-in-law, Rose Marie Capucini; special friends, Bob and Julie Castello, Sandusky; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Denny Capucini; and sister, Geraldine (Gerry) Brown.
There will be no visitation. Private family services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 1701 North Beauregard St., Alexandria, VA 22311.
