Diane M. Myers, 64, of Monroeville, died Tuesday morning, October 16, 2012 in the Fisher-Titus Medical Center, Norwalk, following a brief illness.
She was born January 2, 1948 in Norwalk, Ohio. Diane enjoyed working at Schild's IGA Supercenter, Norwalk, and prior to this, she was a 22 year employee of Norwalk Furniture. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Monroeville, vice president of the Ladies of St. Joe's, Fourth Degree Lady Diane of Knights of Columbus #823, Norwalk, former officer of Helping Hands, member of Monroeville Community Players, Fraternal Order of Eagles Auxiliary, Post 490, Bellevue, The Milan Red Hatters and loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Rick Myers, one son: Mike Wallace of Monroeville, one daughter: Brooke Wallace of Charleston, W.Va., two grandsons: Devon Wallace and Jackson Caudill.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Robert & Edna (Rekart) Hohler.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 19, 2012 from 10:00 AM until time of a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM in the St. Joseph Catholic Church, 66 Chapel Street, Monroeville. The Rev. William Pifher will officiate. There will also be a Open House on Friday, October 19, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Monroeville K of C Hall, 131 S. Main Street, Monroeville, wher eyou are asked to bring pictures of Diane and memories to share. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Roof Fund.
