Ruth M. Lutz, 96, of Sandusky died Wednesday evening, October 27, 2010 in the Parkvue Healthcare Center, Sandusky following a lengthy illness. She was born on December 16, 1913 in Sandusky and was employed at the former Barr Rubber Products Company. She was a member of NewPointe Baptist Church, Sandusky. Ruth was a church organist for more than 40 years.
She is survived by three daughters: Jean (Harvey) Mullins of Troy, OH., Nancy (Robert) Coburn of Conifer, CO., and Mary (William) Cardwell of Wisconsin, one son: Richard (Vickie) Lutz of Sandusky, OH., nine grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, one niece: Lynda (Robert) Wilcox of Huron, OH.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Elroy C. in 1987, her parents: Herman & Marcella (Rey) Brushaber, and one sister: Muriel Mallow in 1960.
Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 AM until time of funeral service at 11:00 AM in the NewPointe Baptist Church, 2611 Campbell Street, Sandusky. Pastor Wally Gilbert will officiate. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan’s Purse, P O Box 3000, Boone, N.C. 28607.
